Full removal and replacement of External Facade and areas above 1st Floor/Podium level for 3 Number residential blocks for the purposes of Fire remediation. These works will enable the existing combustible insulation in the walls to be removed, new cement board to the internal skin of the partition wall and new fire barriers to be installed. Fire Risk Assessment of External Walls have been undertaken for this building determined the life safety risk to be High. The Building is an HRB and over 18metres and is subject to a BSR application for Building Regulations. Combustible materials within the wall type are recommended to be removed and replaced with materials that achieve minimum Euro class A2-s1, d0. It is recommended that cavity barriers or fire stops be installed within the external wall system in line with the current building regulations There are 5 different external facade types and one timber decking type with the proposals to reinstate with new materials and products. EW01 - Wall Type 1: Masonry cavity wall Existing facing brick remove New brick slips to match existing, new non-combustible insulation EW02 - Wall Type 2: Rendered blockwork Block and render removed and new non-combustible render system incorporated EW03 - Wall Type 3: Zinc Standing Seam Blockwork removed and zinc cladding reinstated with new carrier system, support rails and non-combustible insulation EW04 - Wall Type 4: Insulated Sandwich Panel Existing insulation removed and replaced with EuroClad Europanel range to match existing, EW05 - Timber balcony decking fixed to steel sub-structure Existing timber balcony decking removed and replaced with Ali Deck EW06 - Wall Type 6: Timber Cladding Existing blockwork timber cladding and battens removed and replaced with Evverlap Plank (non combustible fibre cement) lapped
